As director for the Jacobson Institute for Youth Entrepreneurship, Dawn Bowlus has been instrumental in developing the University of Iowa's youth entrepreneurship programs. Since 2000, Dawn has built a nationally recognized program--geared around teacher education, curriculum, and outreach--that has reached more than 400 educators and 20,000 students. Her program is an integral part of the university's Entrepreneurship at Iowa initiative and plays a key role in teaching the "entrepreneurial mindset" to the next generation of young entrepreneurs. Dawn brings more than 15 years of experience in youth education and enrichment to the Jacobson Institute. Dawn graduated from Luther College in 1993 with degrees in English and psychology. She received her MBA from The University of Iowa in 2009.
