A second group of Council Bluffs entrepreneurs finished the University of Iowa’s Venture School on Wednesday morning. The program has participates go through a six-week intensive curriculum developed by the National Science Foundation where they work with mentors in a team environment. Jill Slupe, president of Verde Martin, joined Lindsay Cosimano, president of Root Cos Marketing Group, and JPEC faculty member John Paul Engel to provide mentoring to the business teams.

The University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center partnered with a Small Business Development Center event for the Venture School program’s culminating activity and closing workshop.
