IdeaStorm2018
Tuesday, October 30, 2018

This past weekend, October 26-28, the University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) had the opportunity to host the Fall 2018 Iowa Startup Games. The weekend-long event was a success, with over 50 students participating to compete for $2,750 in cash prizes. Students from all majors across campus were invited to participate in this event which culminated with a final pitch competition on Sunday afternoon in the Kinnick Stadium press box.

While participants are strongly encouraged to pitch a new business idea at this event, students without specific ideas are welcome to join a team to help bring their peers' ideas to life. Iowa Startup Games is held once a semester at the University of Iowa and is a great example of multidisciplinary innovation across the UI campus.
