The fall 2016 IdeaStorm competition, a part of ENTREdays, brought over 30 University of Iowa students to the stage to pitch their business idea in 60 seconds or less. The presidents of Iowa JPEC's student organizations (Sigma Nu Tau, Enactus, I-Envision) judged the event, choosing five students to receive cash prizes. Many great ideas were pitched at IdeaStorm and we enjoyed hearing from each and every student who had the courage to get up in front of the room. Congratulations to those who were selected as prize winners!

The winners are:

Matt Eveland, Dual-Sided Contact Lens Case, $500
Caroline Edmunds-Diez, Clothing Line For People Who Require Assistance, $400
Skyler Matthias, New Theatre Experience Production Company, $300
Michael Abdo, BookSmart, $200
Chase Thurman, Guided Rock Climbing, $100

The next IdeaStorm competition will take place in the beginning of the spring 2017 semester. For more information on the competition, visit the IdeaStorm page.
