Linus currently works at the Head of Aquaculture and Fisheries Department in the startup enterprise he co-founded with friends. As the Head of Aquaculture and Fisheries Department, his major responsibilities have been the development of the vision, mission, and strategic plan of the department, consultation with his clients, outreach to both prospective and startup entrepreneurs, and the mentoring of large scale commercial farmers to advise and encourage them to use modern aquaculture practices. Through this, he has educated over 50 small scale farmers on better ways to carry out fish farming activities and educated over 20 wild fisherman on fish farming to avoid putting pressure on fishing in the wild.Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Linus will be working on his own Limited Liability Company where he will apply his innovative skills to develop Aquaculture in Tanzania.
