Josephine is the founder of Dome Media, a multi-platform media, events and publishing company. She also led the launch of Divas Inc. Magazine, Zimbabwe’s leading women’s lifestyle magazine, published by her company.

Currently Josephine is the managing director for Dome Media and the managing editor for Divas Inc. Magazine. Seeing the lack of a lack of platform for women and the male driven realities being presented, she created Dome Media. She believes that media has the power to shape narratives and her passion for women also influenced her current work

Her other accomplishments include forming strategic partnerships with organizations such as UN Women and the National AIDS Council to create safe virtual and offline spaces where Zimbabwean women can openly discuss important issues affecting them. She was also a “Businesswoman of the Year”, Top finalist for the Zimbabwean Women Awards in 2015.

From the fellowship she hopes to learn effective leadership skills that will allow her to take her company to the next level by expanding their reach and connecting with rural Zimbabwean women. In the next 5 years she hopes to have developed a digital television network dedicated to daily programming and content specifically for her target audience.
