Doriel Flávio holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the Methodist University of Angola, where he focused on web and mobile development. He currently works as a backend developer for Inokri.

He was the coordinator and organizer of meet.us, an event created by programmers for programmers. Some of his accomplishments include being involved in the projects Coding Dojo Angola and Salo. Recently, he created Angola's first crowdfunding platform Deya Mais. Deya is a reward based crowd funder created in order to connect people with great ideas to people who like to see good ideas brought to life.

Through this platform they are able to connect creators to an online community willing to help finance these projects with small sums of money. Deya also provides tools for supporters to receive project updates and receive unique rewards in return for their support.

From the fellowship he hopes to grow by facing new challenges. The skills he’d like to obtain include: leadership, public speaking and analysis. Doriel Flávio also would like to make more connections at the fellowship through networking so he can inspire kids back home by returning as a better and more knowledgeable version of himself.
