Constance received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Namibia. Currently she is Malawi’s coordinator for the Africa Agribusiness Academy (AAA), an organization that seeks to foster innovation and growth to improve food security.

Some of her accomplishments include facilitating financial management training for a company called Hortinet, which helped them win $20,000 USD. She also spearheaded a growth initiative for AAA through an app that helps members across the continent interact with each other.

She prides herself in her tolerance and exposure to various cultures and nationalities that enable her to work hard in her current position. Constance is also a firm believer that by supporting agribusiness and agriculture entrepreneurs, you can increase economic growth, rural incomes, food security and provide more jobs.

Through the fellowship she hopes to learn more about international development and new agricultural technology, and skills that she can take back home with her that will broaden networking opportunities and help her tailor business trainings for AAA members. In the next 5 years Constance hopes to introduce corporate social responsibility training to AAA, reach out to more young people and women, and collaborate with local agriculture educational institutions.
