Boubou has a bachelor’s degree in business law and is the founder of a local milk processing and conservation company, called Boubou Lait. The aim of Boubou Lait is to hire women to give them a job and an income to support their families.

His passion is to help the community by providing them with opportunities for employment and help marketing their products. He hopes this will help people become more independent, have fair and equitable remuneration, limit their losses and reduce poverty within the community in Mali.

Some of his accomplishments include being involved in Leaders de Demain as a partnership manager. He has also won the “Crazy Crowdfunder” prize in a Dutch program called The Next Economy put on by Impact Hub Bamako.

In the next 5 years he hopes to see his company better developed so he can increase its production capacity, expand his reach to work with 2,000 dairy producers, employ more young people and set up oneSet. oneSet will be a network for young entrepreneurs where they can get business advice that will boost their companies.
