BBA in Management with an Entrepreneurial Management Track

The track is specifically designed to teach entrepreneurial skills that will prepare you for a variety of exciting career opportunities with high-growth, high-tech companies. This program will shape you into an entrepreneurial-minded leader, innovative manager, and strategic problem-solver - differentiating you from the crowd. Students who graduate with a BBA in Management with an Entrepreneurial Management Track possess high-levels of business acumen and have the following career and resume-building abilities:

Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management

The Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management teaches the fundamentals of business while placing emphasis on entrepreneurship theory and practice. It is the perfect complement to any undergraduate degree, whether you want to start a business or quickly advance in your field.

Technological Entrepreneurship Certificate

The College of Engineering and the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center offer a joint Technological Entrepreneurship Certificate that can be earned along with an engineering degree. It was the first of its kind at any engineering college in the United States.

The program enables students to study the entrepreneurial process as it relates to technology. It not only serves students who intend to start and operate their own business, but it also helps any student interested in gaining a better understanding of business and innovation. The wide range of electives permits students to tailor business courses best suited for their individual interests.

Certificate in Performing Arts Entrepreneurship

The Division of Performing Arts in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has partnered with the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center in the Tippie College of Business to offer a joint Certificate in Performing Arts Entrepreneurship. This program is designed for students who intend to start their own business in the arts as well as those interested in gaining a better understanding of the entrepreneurial process as it relates to performing arts. The unique curriculum provides a venue for developing the skills necessary to be strong, creative contenders in the competitive field of the performing arts.
