Where is it located?
There are 50 spaces on this co-ed floor in Hillcrest Residence Hall. Hillcrest Hall is the largest of the west campus residence halls with nearly 800 occupants. Located just four blocks from the Pentacrest and overlooking the Iowa River, Hillcrest is adjacent to the health sciences campus, the athletic and sports complex, and the Downtown/East campus, making it convenient to most parts of the University. Hillcrest also includes a dining facility, a fitness center, a convenience store, and multiple Learning Communities.
Why is living in the Leadership Community unique?
Members of this community form a close bond as they live together and share common interests in leadership, entrepreneurship, and business. Programs and activities are geared toward these areas. In this quiet house environment, students have the opportunity to focus on their area of interest, form informal study groups, and make relationships that will last a lifetime.
How do I apply?
We are looking for 50 students who would like to develop their leadership skills and be active, involved participants in the community. Interested applicants must request the Leadership Community in Business and Entrepreneurship option on the UI housing application. This community is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
